Recently relocated to Birmingham and thriving in all departments, with a new focus for 2010 which includes focusing on and highlighting the link between Livestock farming and starvation in developing countries. Vegetarian Society
Mainstream organisation that crosses the middle ground in all things veggie/vegan, with a large membership and a well known trademark plus a quarterly magazine – as well of course as their National Vegetarian Week in the end of May every year, which sees thousands of people across the UK get to sample vegetarian food for the first time. www.vegsoc.org Animal Aid Organisers of the Christmas Without Cruelty show every year in London, as well as veggie month in March and vegan month in November, alongside a number of well publicised campaigns aimed at ending animal suffering and cruelty.
